Cute Story: My four-year old niece came to spend New Years with me and my family. It is an age-old tradition (one that I get sick of now & then) to spend it in a 6-hour church service. She was a very good sport and she sat with me in the sound booth. We had a great time.
Anyway, we all go home after a hot meal of menudo and aroz con leche. Exhausted, I climb into bed wanting nothing but sleep. Along comes my niece & all she wants is to play so I tell her, "Hey I'm going to be Sleeping Beauty."
"Who's Beauty?"
"It's a story, mammas."
"A story? ...STORY TIME!!"
I groan.
The End.
Speaking of story time, several of ya'll have asked me to explain the recent series I've posted called The Chase. So here it goes…I'll try to be brief for your sake.
So it's about a girl, a girl who is running.
You may ask, what is she running from??
Well, she's running from herself.
In the end, she faces herself and realizes that there is no need to run so she stops and walks away.
"Well duh, Keilah, that's what is obvious in the photographs."
I know, I know, but I thought I needed to make it clear…to avoid confusion you know?
So here's what I wanted to say: One's biggest fear can actually be oneself. The thing to do about it is to unmask it, face it & take control of it.
So there you have it folks….any questions?
